Electronic Rates and Water Notices

Sign up to receive your rates and water notices by email (eNotices) or via internet banking (BPAY View). Plus save time and pay your rates online.

You can still pay your bill by using one of our payment methods.

An eNotices account will give you the ability to:

  • Have one account for all your properties.
  • Re-print or download extra copies of your notices.
  • View all historical notices.

Step 1.Locate your eNotices reference number

Your eNotices reference number is located on the front of your notice at the bottom.

Step 2.Register for eNotices

  • Visit eNotices.
  • Select the Sign Up tab at the top of the screen.
  • Enter email address and eNotices reference number.

Step 3.Check your email inbox

Check your email inbox for an email activation link.

You have 48 hours from the date of the email to click the link before it expires.

Once registered you can log in to your dashboard then view and pay your rates and water notices at any time. 

BPAY View®

BPAY View logo

Use BPAY View® to receive, pay and store your notices electronically in your online banking.

Step 1.Log in to online or mobile banking

Step 2.Select BPAY View® or View Bills section

Step 3.Register by entering your BPAY biller code and customer reference number on your notice

Once registered your online banking provider will notify you via email, SMS or bank message reminder when a new notice is received.

Change or update your address

  1. Complete Change of address form(PDF, 229KB)
  2. Return to Council via:
  • Email rates@byron.nsw.gov.au
  • In person Council office, 70 Station Street, Mullumbimby, NSW, 2482
  • By mail: Byron Shire Council, PO Box 219 Mullumbimby, NSW, 2482.

Change your email on your rates notice

  1. Log in to your eNotices portal and go to ‘Update contact details’.
  2. Call or email our rates department who can change it for you:
