Tips to prevent bins not being collected

  • Flatten your waste down - break up bulky items such as polystyrene, bubble wrap, cushions. This is the MAIN reason bins are not collected. 
  • Do NOT overfill your bin. Completely CLOSE the lid. 
  • Place away from parked vehicles. If this is an issue, place your bin in front of your driveway.
  • Place bins 30 cm apart.
  • Put bins out the night before collection.
