Lot 12 Bayshore Drive – Roundabout Construction

Announcement

There will be a temporary interruption to water supply for properties along Bayshore Drive between 1am and 5am on Saturday 21 June.

Council is building a new roundabout on Bayshore Drive, at the intersection of the access road to TAFE and the IGA shopping centre.

A slip lane on Lot 12 Bayshore Drive has been built, to ensure two lanes of traffic remain open for the majority of the roundabout construction.

This project is part of the development of a 5.8-hectare Council-owned block of land known as Lot 12 Bayshore Drive.

Work times – Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm.
Noise – Machinery noise including drilling and vacuum excavation.
Restricted access/temporary closures – Traffic control, electronic message boards and signage will be in place throughout the project to keep the community informed and manage access (including deliveries). Note: during the final stage of the project, expected in September/October 2025, traffic access may need to be reduced to one lane.
