Major upgrade at Bruns sports fields gets underway

People who use the sports fields at Brunswick Heads will notice some building action, with Council beginning repairs of the public toilets and the club house at Stan Thompson Oval this month.

Byron Creek Bridge to stay closed until at least the end of the week

The Byron Creek Bridge, on the outskirts of Bangalow, will be closed until at least the end of the week while Council reviews a report from specialist structural engineers after a fire underneath the bridge last Friday (9 January).

Bangalow Road Closed

Council has closed a section of Bangalow Road near Bangalow this afternoon (Friday 9 January) following an incident. NSW Police and NSW Rural Fire Service are investigating.
