Eastern Green
The Eastern green is adjacent to the Auditorium roller doors, on the eastern side of the Cavanbah Centre.
This green space does not have flood lights and is therefore limited to daytime use.
Cornell Family Field
The Cornell Field is Byron Shire's premier AFL and Cricket sports oval.
This grass sports field is enclosed within a picket fence and can accommodate a full size junior or senior AFL field, as well as a Cricket pitch with a Turf wicket.
General Field
A community field available for sport and events. Includes a Synthetic Cricket wicket and junior soccer goals.
Herb Elliot Field
The Herb Elliot Field is a turf Athletics Track, home to the Byron Bay Runners Club and Byron Shire Archery Club. Other features:
- Athletics Turf Track
- Softball Cage
- Sand long-jump pit
- Small grandstand
- Adjacent to Amenities.
South West Field 4
This grass field can accommodate either a full size junior or senior soccer field. It also comprises half an AFL oval, which can be full sized when both South Wests Field 4 and 5 are booked together.
If a full-size AFL oval is required, please book South West Fields 4 and 5 together.
