Byron Bay Masterplan

Council is working with the Byron Bay Town Centre Masterplan Guidance Group to implement actions from the Plan that deliver on the Masterplan's short term priorities.

Our Mullumbimby Masterplan celebrates the values that make Mullum such a vibrant town, while sustainably guiding growth and improving liveability into the long term. The Stuart Street Greenspine and the Talking Street Trial (Burringbar St) are the first two projects from this Plan.

Bangalow Village Plan

The Bangalow Village Plan sets out residents’ aspirations for their village and is intended to guide its improvements and development over the next 15 years, from 2019 when it was finalised.

Multi Use Byron Shire Rail Corridor

Council has engaged Arcadis Australia Pacific Pty Ltd to deliver a report on the Multi Use of Byron Shire's Rail Corridor. This report will investigate the current state of assets in the corridor to inform an economic feasibility and social impact assessment of each use within the corridor.

Byron Arts and Industry Estate Precinct Plan

The Byron Arts and Industry Estate has evolved over the last decade from a local service centre to contain an eclectic mix of businesses and residential uses. A Precinct Plan has been developed for the estate.

Place Planning Collective

The Place Planning Collective - a group of community members, staff and Councillors - will help with the implementing actions in our place plans.

Federal Village Masterplan

A new Federal Village Masterplan will be created through a 'community led' planning process.

Linda Vidler Park Masterplan

Council is developing a masterplan for Linda Vidler Park to ensure it is a space for the whole community to enjoy.

The aim is that the park will cater for people of all ages and be a flexible place for relaxation, exercise and informal and organised activities.
