Near 46 Wanganui Road just before McPhails Road 
  • Replacing causeway with a low-level bridge
   Construction planned mid 2027

Causeway 

Near national parks in close proximity to 274 Wanganui Road  
  • Install rock protection 
  • Reconstruct southern concrete approach slab
 Construction planned late 2026

Landslips

Landslip 1 

Near 274 Wanganui Road
  • Remove debris 
  • Place pinned jute mesh 
  • Reform verge and open drain
  • Clear table drain, reshape batter face
 Construction planned mid 2027

 

Landslip 2

Near 46 Wanganui Road 
  • Remove slipped material
 Construction planned mid 2026
