We are planning some upgrades to the Suffolk Beachfront Holiday Park to create a more accessible and enjoyable experience for visitors and residents.
Some of these works are required to fulfill our legislative requirements and to protect environmentally sensitive areas.
Works will happen occur in two stages and include the following:
Starting July 2026
Starting Mid 2027
The site currently occupied by the amenities building will be converted into environmentally sensitive camping sites.
Removing the amenities building requires an Environmental Impact Statement. This has been completed, submitted for development approval and is currently on exhibition.
Provide your feedback by visiting Development Application exhibition Alcorn Street Byron Bay
Feedback closes 18 June 2026.
We have been consulting with stakeholders and Suffolk Beachfront Holiday Park residents throughout the process.
