We are repairing damage on Whian Road, caused during Tropical Cyclone Alfred in 2025.

Current on the ground works

We are planning repair works to address damage to Whian Road.

The works will include road pavement repairs and drainage improvements.

Construction is scheduled to start Tuesday 28 April. Works are expected to be completed by the end of May. Subject to weather and site conditions.

During the works, the road will be reduced to one lane, with temporary barriers and 24‑hour traffic management in place.
