Pre-purchase Inspection Request

Use this form to request a pre-purchase inspection of:

  • a property with an onsite sewage management system (OSMS)
  • an existing food business
  • public health premise (such as a tattoo parlours or body piercing)

Our Environmental Health Officer team will inspect the property / premises and provide a written report so that you are aware of any existing issues upfront.

Important

  • You will need to pay pre-purchase inspection fees on submission of this form.
  • If the applicant is not the owner, or there are multiple owners, a letter of authorisation is required to be uploaded.
  • We are only able to complete a pre-purchase inspection if the current owner or occupier allows access.
  • A minimum of 10 days is required before the inspection will be undertaken.

  • Onsite sewage management system (OSMS) - $761
  • Existing food business - $447
  • Public health premise (for example tattooing, piercing, etc.) - $439
