Aboriginal & Torres Strait Communities We are committed to promoting mutual respect and harmony between Aboriginal and non-aboriginal people in the Byron Shire. The Bundjalung of Byron Bay Arakwal People and Widjabul Wia-bal People have continuing Native Title rights and interests in parts of the land and waters within the Byron Shire.
