Apex Park Byron Bay

Apex Park is on Byron Bay's popular Main Beach. It has free BBQs, picnic tables, showers, toilets and swings for the kids.

There is disabled parking adjacent to the park.

Playground equipment removed

The main playground equipment was removed in October 2023, due to safety concerns.

The playground, which was installed in 2007, had developed significant faults and the equipment could not be repaired for a reasonable cost.

The existing swings and spring toys will remain in place for now.

A new playground is due to be installed in 2025.
