Linda Vidler Park Masterplan

Linda Vidler Park, formerly the Suffolk Park Recreation Ground, is a four hectare site on Beech Street at Suffolk Park.

We are developing a masterplan for Linda Vidler Park to ensure it is a space for the whole community to enjoy.

The aim is that the park will cater for people of all ages and be a flexible place for relaxation, exercise and informal and organised activities.

There will also be an upgrade to drainage and the development of a drainage plan that will focus on water sensitive urban design.

Architectural consultants have been engaged to develop the masterplan for the park.

Community consultation

A key component of the plan is input from stakeholder groups and residents about their vision for the park.

We will be meeting with the following groups who will be invited to inform the Draft Masterplan.

  • Community Gardens
  • Suffolk Park Progress Association
  • Suffolk Park Football Club
  • Suffolk Park Farmers Market
  • Arakwal.

The broader community will then have the opportunity to share their feedback when the Draft Masterplan goes on public exhibition in late April.
