The Bangalow A and I Hall is the perfect location for a special event.
The hall is used for conferences, film, music and cultural festivals, large scale and intimate theatre, cabaret, dance and lifestyle shows plus the historic hall’s unique pressed metal interior makes it an amazing wedding venue.
The Bangalow Hall was originally used as the A and I Show pavilion. The hall was also used for picture shows, debutante balls, soldiers' farewells and welcome home concerts. Other incarnations included a venue for dances, skating, weddings, bazaars, flower shows, and an emergency hospital during the 1919 flu epidemic.
The hall has had both an illustrious and precarious past. It fell into almost complete disuse in the latter part of the 20th century and its demolition was imminent. In 1991 the process of restoring the building to her former glory began. The hall was officially re-opened on 11 June 1994.
