We recognise the important relationship we have with the community, and the need to communicate clearly about matters which are important to you.
Good communication with stakeholders and the elected Council:
- builds partnerships
- helps manage expectations
- increases awareness about Council projects, operations and processes.
This policy outlines how we manage our communication activities. It provides guidance to Council staff and Councillors, and outlines to the community what they can expect from our communication channels.
