Feedback closed on Friday 31 May 2024.
During May 2024, we asked the community for their feedback on Baywood Chase Lake.
The Lake is important as it provides drainage helps manage stormwater runoff.
Thank you to everyone who completed our survey and provided feedback. We received feedback from 150 people.
Your views have been considered in the development of draft management actions for the lake which aim to improve water quality and ecosystem health.
Future community engagement
The draft management actions will be considered through the development of a Coastal Management Program for the Tallow Creek and Ti Tree Lake catchment.
We are developing this ten-year strategic action plan under the NSW Government’s Coastal Management Framework. This process includes analysis to shortlist and prioritise key actions.
Community engagement on the preferred management actions is expected to start in mid-2025 and will include a survey and drop-in session.
Funding
Information about funding these actions can be found on our Coastal Management Programs web page. See 'certification and grant funding' section.
