Transport for NSW slope remediation Hinterland Way, McLeods Shoot
Transport for NSW will carry be carrying out work on Hinterland Way, Mcleods Shoot.
Works include
- Slope remediation on a 65-metre section of Hinterland Way at Mcleods Shoot.
- Vegetation removal
- Drainage repairs.
When and where
They will be working approximately 150m east of the St Helena Road and Hinterland Way intersection.
Work will start Monday 31 March and will be complete in August 2025, weather permitting.
Working hours are weekdays between 7am and 5pm.
Some work may be carried out on Saturdays between 8am and 1pm.
There will be no work on Sundays or public holidays.
What will this mean for you?
You may notice:
- workers and vehicles
- traffic controllers and signage
- reduced speed limits
- changed road conditions
- noise from machinery and equipment
- temporary changes to visual amenity.
Traffic Impacts
- Single lane, alternate traffic flow arrangements with a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place on St Helena Road 24/7 for the duration of work.
- A westbound slow lane and shoulder closure with a reduced speed limit of 60km/h will be in place on Hinterland Way 24/7 for the duration of work.
- Motorists are advised to allow up to five minutes extra travel time, drive to traffic conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
