Flood restoration works - Minor landslips package no. 17

We are repairing minor landslip damages that occurred on various roads during the 2022 floods.

This includes repairs in the following areas:

  • Goonengerry Road
  • Left Bank Road
  • Main Arm Road
  • The Pocket Road.

This package of works is known as pack 17.

Current works & traffic impacts

Repair works on Main Arm Road resume Monday, 24 November.

We will recommence repairs to minor landslips on Main Arm Road next Monday as part of the 2022 flood recovery program.

Work will take place:

  • Between Coopers Lane and Settlement Road near Durrumbul
  • Near 1516 Main Arm Road, close to Motts Road

Please allow for short delays under traffic control until the end of December.

  • Reshape the table drain according to standard Council specifications and make sure the drainage works properly.

  • Regrade the slope surface, also known as batter.
  • Remove landslide debris from the site.
  • Reshape the table drain according to standard Council specifications and make sure the drainage works properly.

Main Arm Road (between Coopers Lane and Settlement Road)
  • Regrade the slope surface, also known as batter.
  • Remove landslide debris from the site.
  • Reshape the table drain according to standard Council specifications and make sure the drainage works properly.
Commencing late November 2025
Main Arm Road (near 1516 Main Arm Road)
  • Excavate material from the main scarp to make the slope more stable and blend with the natural slope.
  • Reshape the table drain to meet Council standards and ensure proper drainage.
  • Repair or rebuild the damaged road surface.

  • Regrade the slope surface, also known as batter.
  • Remove landslide debris from the site.
  • Reshape the table drain according to standard Council specifications and make sure the drainage works properly.
