In the first half of 2025 Council did major work on a 2.9-kilometre stretch of Booyong Road starting near the intersection of Bangalow Road at Clunes.

The section of road was reconstructed, along with some drainage improvements.

The $1 million project was funded by the NSW Government's Regional Emergency Road Repair Fund.
