Pest Animal Management Plan

Our Pest Animal Management Plan includes:

• How we manage pest animals on Council land.
• How we can help with pest animal management on private land.
• Outcomes, objectives and actions to address and manage the impacts of pest animals. 
• Strategies that can be used to manage pest animals.
• How council is dealing with the ongoing debate about dingoes and pest animal management.
• Responsible pet ownership and pest animal management.

The actions of the Pest Animal Management Plan are based on the principles of pest animal management which are:

• Prevention
• Eradication
• Containment
• Asset protection.  

This Plan was developed in close consultation with community and key stakeholders.
