Government Grant Programs

Byron Shire Council has been successful in attracting funding for a variety of local projects.

This includes funding from the Stronger Country Communities Grants and NSW Government Roads and Infrastructure Election Commitment.

NSW Government Roads and Infrastructure Election Commitment

In February 2020, the NSW Government announced $25 million for projects to improve the road network and support towns impacted by tourism.

We’re excited to be the first regional council to receive a Special Entertainment Precinct Kickstart Grant from the NSW 24-hour Economy Commission.
