More reliable journeys thanks to Wilsons Creek Road upgrade

Communities on a key stretch of Wilsons Creek Road between Upper Wilsons Creek and Alidenes Road in the Northern Rivers now have more reliable access to and from their homes with the completion of major work to upgrade Wilsons Creek Road.

Mullum Hospital site – Draft Development Control Plan on exhibition

The next stage of the redevelopment of the Mullumbimby Hospital site is underway with the exhibition of a Draft Development Control Plan (DCP) for the site.

The Draft DCP sets out the guidelines for how the site can be developed.

Free buses across Byron Shire this Easter so leave the car at home

Free bus services will operate across Byron Shire this Easter weekend to support a region-wide program of live music, markets and events following the cancellation of Bluesfest.

Mayor Sarah Ndiaye said the NSW Government support would make it easier and safer for people to move across the shire during one of the busiest weekends of the year.
