If you want to use the footpath or other public places outside your business to store or display goods, you will need to apply for approval.
To make an application, read the guidelines and follow the instructions below.
Prepare your application in accordance with the Display or storage of goods on footpath Guidelines(PDF, 1MB).
Complete the form to get approval to use Council land. You will need to include a site plan.

Once we reviewed your application to make sure we have everything we need to assess it, we will email an invoice for payment of application fees.
Assessment will commence once we receive payment.
If your application is approved, you will receive a license that includes a number of operational conditions, including but not limited to:

If the business has changed ownership, a new footpath dining approval is required.
Businesses using the footpath for commercial purposes must display their approved plan showing the designated area of use.
