The planning proposal has amended the Byron Local Environmental Plan 2014 to include business and industrial lands for part of 66 The Saddle Road, Brunswick Heads.
Key changes
- Rezoned part of the Rural Landscape area to General Industrial and Productivity Support zones.
- Other parts rezoned to C2 Environmental Conservation and C3 Environmental Management. Existing C2 and C3 zones remain unchanged.
- An ‘additional permitted use’ for work/live development in the Productivity Support zone.
- Planning Agreement requiring the applicant to upgrade the infrastructure.
- This proposal aligns with our Business and Industrial Lands Strategy for Area 5: Gulgan North.
Draft Development Control Plan
A Draft Development Control Plan (DCP) for the site will address building design and general site requirements.
This exhibition includes parts of this DCP. We will exhibit the full DCP at a later date.
