Waste Disposal after a Natural Disaster/Significant Storm Event Policy

The objectives of this policy are:

  1. To set the framework for waiving gate fees at the BRRC following a natural disaster or significant storm event, which results in the generation of green (vegetative) and/or other waste and debris.
  2. To provide support to the Byron Shire community in the aftermath of natural disasters and significant storm events.
  3. To assist Council to meet its obligations.
