Brunswick Heads Foreshore Community Action Plan
The Brunswick Heads Community Action Plan has been developed in response to concerns raised on the village and foreshore areas.
We hosted a Community Opportunity Workshop with stakeholders, including:
- State agencies
- land managers
- local community groups.
The goal was to build shared understanding and work together to improve the Brunswick Heads foreshore and village.
The result is a Community Action Plan (CAP) that outlines actions to enhance the area’s:
- amenity
- character
- livability.
It reflects a strong commitment to collaboration, transparency, and ongoing improvement.
The Brunswick Heads Community Action Plan is a living document, designed to respond to emerging needs, and guide future improvements for Brunswick Heads.

Brunswick Heads Interagency Group
To support the Brunswick Heads Community Action Plan, the Brunswick Heads Interagency Group was formed. This group will:
- oversee progress
- review priorities
- ensure the community remains at the heart of decision-making.
Understanding how land is managed in Brunswick Heads helps ensure that enquiries and concerns are directed to the right agency, making it easier to get the right support and action.
To help residents and visitors know who to contact for enquiries or issues, the Land Management and Operational Areas Map shows which agency manages each part of the foreshore and village.
By using the map, you can easily identify the right organisation to reach out to. This helps to ensure your concerns are addressed quickly and effectively.
