We're inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from contractors to enter into agreements to provide services to deal with Unattended Property – Vehicles (Registered and Unregistered), or more commonly known as abandoned vehicles.
We have introduced a means of dealing with abandoned vehicles where in exchange for towing and holding (where relevant) services, the contractor has the right to dispose of the motor vehicle.
There are two separate EOIs open:
- Motor vehicles valued under $1,500 – To tow and dispose of vehicles.
- Motor vehicles valued over $1,500 – To tow, hold and dispose (where applicable) of the vehicles.
