Fern Street footpath

Council is building a new footpath connecting Station Street to Fern Street in Mullumbimby. The project has been made possible thanks to $711,800 in funding from the NSW Government.

The 200 metres of new footpath will be built on the southern side of Fern and Stations Streets and will continue to Stuart Street.

Works have been delayed and are expected to start in June 2024. They will take around three weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Road widening and new kerbing will also be installed on the corner of Fern Street and Station Street.

The works are a priority project of Council’s Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan.
