Byron Bay Skate Park Project Byron Bay's brand new skate park, Jarjumirr Park, is now open in the Sandhill's Estate. Construction of the skate park, located off Gilmore Cresent, was completed in May 2023.
Byron Bay Bypass The Byron Bay bypass construction finished in January 2021.The Byron Bay bypass reduces congestion in the town centre and provides better connectivity between the north and south of the town.
Pocket Park Bayshore Drive Council has built a new ‘pocket’ park on the corner of Bayshore Drive and Banskia Street in the Byron Arts and Industry Estate. This is the first project to be delivered from the Byron Arts and Industry Estate Precinct Plan.
Byron Bay rail corridor restoration We are restoring the rail corridor in the centre of Byron Bay.Construction was completed in October 2021.
Byron Bus Interchange The new bus interchange in the rail corridor adjacent to Butler Street in Byron Bay is open.This interchange replaced the bus stop on Jonson Street.
Suffolk Park Pump Track The Suffolk Park pump track is in Linda Vidler Park, Suffolk Park.It is an asphalt circuit of rollers, banked turns designed for bicycles, scooters, skateboards and even wheelchairs. The pump track is suitable for all ages.
