Council has made a commitment to reduce the use of pesticides across Byron Shire. You can register your pesticide use with Council and let us know if you want to avoid pesticide use near your property.

Biosecurity alerts

Current biosecurity alerts include the Yellow Crazy Ant, Red-eared slider turtle, Red imported fire ant, Big-headed ant, Indian ring-necked parrot. If you see these please report to NSW Department of Primary Industries Invasive plants and Animals Enquiry Line on 1800 680 244.
