Council Planning Meeting 8 April 2021

Some videos on the Facebook app are muted by default, and you have to turn the volume on after the video loads. Make sure there isn't an "x" next to the volume symbol on the video. If there is an "x," click the icon to restore the sound and then adjust the volume to suit your preferences.

Previous meetings

Livestream recordings will be available for 12 months following the meeting.

What if the livestream isn't working?

If you are experiencing issues with the livestream, please ensure you are using the most up-to-date version of your browser. If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact us at council@byron.nsw.gov.au.

Why can't I see the full view of the meeting room?

The main view of the livestream during Public Access will be the list of registered participants. During the meeting proper it will be the recommendation for the relevant Item being debated. This is to allow the public to clearly see what is being discussed, and also any amendments that may be made.

Are all parts of the meeting livestreamed?

Although the majority of the meeting is livestreamed, confidential reports are not. This is because, as the name suggests, they contain confidential information that cannot or should not be disclosed. During this time a holding image will be displayed accompanied by no audio.
