Mental Health and Natural Disaster Recovery Workshop for businesses

If you are an owner of a natural disaster impacted business, come along to this free workshop.

The workshop will provide tools to improve your employees’ and your own mental health and wellbeing, after recent natural disaster events. It is also an opportunity to connect with other business owners.

The workshop will be facilitated by Mullumbimby Psychology and is funded by the Commonwealth under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements. It will include:

  • information on the mental health landscape after a natural disaster
  • psychological first aid strategies for ourselves and others
  • completion of a wellbeing checklist and mental health action plan as well as,
  • mental health supports available.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Each participant will also receive a First Alert Fire Safe and Waterproof Chest for storing important documents, valued at $69.

Maximum number of participants is 15 so please ensure you are able to attend on the day before registering.

We will provide some pre-work to be completed before the workshop. This will take about ten minutes to complete.
