Do you have an EV?
The Power Up Northern Rivers Electric Vehicle Strategy has been prepared by the regional collaboration, Sustain Northern Rivers, and led by Byron and Tweed Shire Councils, to create a plan for sustainable EV use into the future and is a landmark step for increasing the uptake of EV ownership and use in the region.
Councils in the Northern Rivers are incorporating EV’s into their fleets and the strategy will allow work to start on building the charging infrastructure needed to make a transition to more sustainable transport options.
Byron Shire Council has a fast charging station at the Byron Bay Library that will renew a battery in roughly 30 minutes.
