The first Byron Shire Community Awards Ceremony will be held in the first week of August 2023.  

The Community Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding individuals from the Byron Shire.

Stay tuned for details about the event and how you can nominate someone for an award. 

Replacing Australia Day Awards

Following community feedback collected in September and October 2022, it was decided that the Australia Day Awards will be replaced with a community awards program during Local Government Week.
