Local Heritage Places Grant can assist with conservation works that enhance places, buildings and historic streetscapes in the Byron Shire. Funding for 2021 to 2022 has now closed.
Our Heritage Study makes recommendations for the ongoing management and protection of the places in Byron Shire that have heritage value.
The purpose of the Byron Shire Heritage Strategy provides direction for heritage management and links to wider strategic and organisation planning.
Byron Shire Council has engaged the services of Deborah Wray as a heritage advisor. Deborah has a great deal of experience providing heritage advisory services to local government.
