Sustainable Streets Initiative

Sustainable StreetsByron Shire Council has joined forces with a local community group to deliver the 'Sustainable Streets' program that aims to foster community-inspired sustainable behaviour change at a street-by-street level. The program consists of regular neighbourhood gatherings and sustainability education workshops on topics ranging from local food production and biodiversity to energy efficiency and green cleaning. A series of informative fact sheets, eco-living challenges and some great prizes will be available to assist participating residents in their journey towards sustainability!
