Coomburra Crescent Road Reconstruction Works

10 July 2017 - 11 August 2017

Road reconstruction works will consist of the removal of up to 345mm of existing road pavement and replacement with geotextile and gravel road base followed by an asphalt wearing surface. The work zone will be under traffic control and closed to through traffic.

Initial works to remove the existing road pavement may take up to 2 days, and will cause the greatest delays for residents.  While it is not necessary for residents living on Coomburra Crescent to relocate their vehicles prior to these works, it is advisable to be prepared for delay during the day when pavement removal is occurring.  Council will advise the day before when the resident will be impacted.

Residents will be allowed to return to their property, but will be held until the work site is safe to allow return.  In some instances it will be more convenient for residents to park outside the work site and walk to their residence during construction hours.

These works are expected to take up to 4 weeks, weather dependant.

Council wishes to acknowledge your patience for the duration of these construction activities.

Should you require any further information on the matter, please feel free to contact Council's Works Engineer, Mr Hank Spangler on 6685 9300.
