Road Reconstruction Works - Coolamon Scenic Drive
Byron Shire Council wishes to advise Residents and Landowners that Road Re-construction works will be undertaken on Coolamon Scenic Drive from Monday 16 April 2012 for the period of approximately 1.5 months, weather permitting, during the hours of 7am to 4pm.
Advice regarding wet weather delays will be available on Councils webpage and indicated on roadside signage.
The work zone will commence 400m South of the Myocum Road Intersection and extend northwards for 1.6 kilometres.
To insure the safety of both motorists and the workers involved in the project it is necessary to undertake the works under traffic control conditions. This section of Coolamon Scenic Drive will be under traffic control from 7am to 4pm each working day.
Council regrets any inconvenience caused by these essential works.

Broken Head Road - Road Rehabilitation Works
Council wishes to advise that Road Rehabilitation works wil be carried out on Broken head Road from Monday 14 May 2012 until Friday 29 June 2012 weather permitting, during the hours of 9.00am to 3.00pm.
The work zone will commence from 800m south of Broken Head Reserve Road and extend for approximately 475m to the south along Broken Head Road.
Traffic on Broken Head Road during working hours will be restricted to a single lane via traffic control.
In particular, the period from 14 May to 25 May 2012 will have both South and North bound traffic disrupted and delays of up to 20minutes are to be expected during the hours of 9.00am to 3.00pm
