Positive Ageing Awards - Nominate Now !
The nominations for the Annual Seniors Festival Positive Ageing Awards are now open.
You are invited to nominate a worthy recipient for the 2017 Awards.
What is the Positive Ageing Award?
Seniors Festival is an opportunity to celebrate older people and their contributions in the local community. The awards have been initiated to recognise the importance of a positive philosophy towards ageing and to recognise not only the work that an individual does to assist others in the community, but also their positive attitude towards ageing. This is your opportunity to recognise and reward someone, over 65 years, who inspires you.
Who can nominate?
Any individual or group can nominate someone they admire for a Positive Ageing Award. Your nominee may be a friend, family member, work colleague – in fact any person over 65 that you believe deserves recognition. The nominee must be a Byron Shire resident.
How to nominate?
Nomination forms for the Seniors Festival Positive Ageing Award are available on Council’s website www.byron.nsw.gov.au/seniors-festival-2017 or at the Byron Shire Council Office in Mullumbimby.
