Amendments to Council's Adopted Fees and Charges 2017/18

At its Ordinary Meeting held on 22 June 2017, Council resolved to place on public exhibition proposed changes to its adopted Fees and Charges for 2017/18, as follows:

Information Technology Service Fee

Addition of a new fee being the Information Technology Service Fee, to be levied against all new Development Applications received at 0.07% of the value of Development Applications.

Temporary Food Businesses Fee 

Addition of a new fee relating to Temporary Food Businesses (ie Market Stalls) for inspections to be set at $80 for high risk, $60 for medium risk and $40 for low risk.

The proposed amendments are on exhibition for a period of 28 days and are available at Council's administration centre, or on Council’s website at www.byron.nsw.gov.au/public-exhibition

Submissions should be in writing and addressed to the General Manager, Byron Shire Council, PO Box 219 Mullumbimby 2482 or sent by email to submissions@byron.nsw.gov.au. Emailed submissions to this address only will be acknowledged.

Submissions will be made public in accordance with Schedule 1 Part 3 Clause 1(a)(vi) within Schedule 5 Part 2 of the GIPA 2009 Regulations as applicable including both the substance of the submission and the identity of the author.
