I’m having difficulty making my payment!
Council recognises that at times some people may have difficulties paying their rates and is sympathetic towards ratepayers who have genuine difficulties in meeting their payment deadlines. Should you be in such a position please visit Council in person or contact Council’s Debt Recovery Officer on 02 6626 7000 in order to discuss your situation and to make a special repayment arrangement.
Ratepayers having difficulty in paying quarterly instalment amounts are encouraged to pay their rates by weekly, fortnightly or monthly contributions as a way of budgeting.
Periodical payments can be arranged through Council via a direct debit authority (Rates Direct Debit form). Similar arrangements can be made by using BPay. For more information please call Council's Rates Section on (02) 6626 7000.
