Byron Council has allocated an additional $650,000 to be spent on upgrading roads and parks in its draft budget for the 2014/15 financial year which is now on public exhibition.

Bundjalung woman, Yvonne Stewart, was acknowledged at Council with a few wet eyes and a heartfelt thank you as she steps down from her position of Chief Executive Officer of Bundjalung of Byron Bay Arakwal Corporation.
