Libraries in Byron Shire
Byron Shire Council is a member of the Richmond-Tweed Regional Library, which provides the Shire’s Free Library Service, and Shire residents have access to the Regional Library’s combined stock of over 400,000 items. Byron Shire provides three full time public libraries. All three Libraries provide regular story time sessions for children, and internet training sessions for seniors. In addition, there is a modern mobile Library Service (including internet access) serving Federal, Ocean Shores, Suffolk Park, and Bangalow. Library Members can access the library catalogue, review and renew their loans and order new books online 24/7 through the Regional Library’s website.
