International Day of People with Disability

International Day of People with Disability promotes the participation of people with disability in society and the goal of full and equal enjoyment of human rights.

Australian of the Year, Simon McKeon, is this year's Patron.

2011 International Day of People with Disability will be celebrated on Saturday 3rd December. This year's theme is "Together for a better world for all: Including persons with disabilities in development".
