Two year lease of Old Station Masters Cottage, Byron Bay

Byron Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest for the lease for a period of two (2) years only of Council owned community land and buildings known as the Old Station Master’s Cottage, Jonson Street, Byron Bay and currently houses the Byron Visitor Centre.

The Site is classified as community land under the Local Government Act, and is the subject of a Plan of Management, one objective of which is to provide a professional visitor information centre.  Any expression of interest to lease the site must be in accordance with the Plan of Management.

A site visit is proposed to be conducted by Council on Thursday 17 November, 2011 and respondents are invited to meet at 2pm (NSW time) at the Byron Visitor Centre, Jonson Street, Byron Bay.

Submissions must be received by Council prior to 2pm, Thursday 8 December 2011. The “Call for Expressions of Interest – Lease of Old Station Masters Cottage” is available on Council’s website at www.byron.nsw.gov.au/expressions-of-interest/
