Market Stall Holders and Buskers for New Year's Eve 2010

Byron Shire Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from market stall holders and community groups, particularly those who feature local home made/ home grown or value-added items, to operate on New Year’s Eve 2010.  Market stalls and entertainment will operate in Apex Park from 4pm to midnight, Friday 31 December 2010.

Expressions of Interest are also sought for buskers to perform during the evening, particularly buskers who will appeal to a broad range of audiences and are appropriate for families.  Buskers may need to obtain a Busking Permit.

Council encourages applications that will contribute to safe, family friendly, alcohol free, community based and sustainable activities for the Byron Shire on New Year’s Eve.

Stall holder Fees:

Food stalls $150

Craft Stalls $80

Community Group FREE

Busking Permit Fees:

One off application fee $20

1 month permit $26

Annual permit $100
