House With No Steps
The House With No Steps Summerland Region was established in 1971. Summerland House is situated on 69 hectares of fertile farmland on the Alstonville Plateau between Lismore and Ballina.
The project currently provides vocational training and employment for over 60 people with disabilities in its business areas of avocado and macadamia nut farming, tropical fruit packing, restaurant and function services, retail nursery and macadamia de-husking services. It also provides assessment and training for life skills such as budgeting, hygiene, travel and home duties.
