We are looking for:  a suitably qualified and experienced senior manager with a proven track record of strong leadership, program delivery and change management to lead and manage the Directorate to achieve the Council's strategic direction. Reporting to the General Manager and a key member of the leadership team, the Director Infrastructure Services will lead a multi-disciplined group responsible for the delivery of infrastructure and asset services for the community.

You will have demonstrated your ability and capacity to bring a highly strategic approach to planning and service delivery. Your ability to drive a ‘can do’ culture with a solution based approach to delivering operational priorities and objectives through your Directorate will be critical to your success in the role.

You will possess strong communication skills which you will utilise effectively to develop strong working relationships internally and externally whilst identifying opportunities for additional or supplementary revenue streams for Council within the Directorate. You will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and a sound understanding of current Local Government issues and a strong knowledge of the Local Government Act 1993 and other relevant legislation.
