Council Services
Byron Shire Council is committed to providing high quality children’s services that value and support families and the contribution they make to our community. Our services cater for children aged from birth to 12 years and provide friendly, secure and supportive settings for children and their families.
Council’s services are community based and non-profit making. Fees are charged to cover the operational costs of the service, and all funds are directed back into providing the best possible facilities and learning opportunities for young children.
Our services are accredited by the National Childcare Accreditation Council, assuring families that quality practices and standards are regularly reviewed and maintained to meet the on-going and ever-changing needs of the community. Parent involvement and participation is encouraged, and feedback and input is always welcome.
Our services include:
- After school care
- Long day care
- Parent support program
