Public Exhibition:
Summary of Byron Shire Council's Financial Reports 2008/09
In accordance with Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act,
1993, Byron Shire Council advises that the Ordinary Council meeting to
be held Thursday 12 November 2009, will include the presentation of the
audited financial reports and the auditor's reports for the period
ending 30 June 2009.

In accordance with Section 420 of the Local Government Act 1993, any
person may make a submission in writing to Council with respect to the
Audited Financial Reports or the Auditor's Report.
The Financial Reports are available at Community Access Points around the Shire or on Council's webpage www.byron.nsw.gov.au/public-exhibition

Submissions close: Thursday 10 December 2009
Submissions will be made public in accordance with section 12 of the Local Government Act 1993 (Document Request) or the FOI Act 1989 (FOI Application) as applicable including both the substance of the objection and the identity of the objector unless the objector can demonstrate that Clause 4 of Schedule 1 of the FOI Act 1989 applies (documents affecting law enforcement and public safety).
